Hand-rolled soft nougat made with honey, sugar and egg whites, enriched with coffee and toasted almonds for a deep, aromatic flavour and a well-balanced sweetness. The combination of soft texture and crunchy nuts creates a rich and refined confection with distinctive roasted notes.

This soft nougat is handcrafted in Irpinia, in southern Italy, an area known for its confectionery heritage. Fontana FORMIELLO torrone is made in small batches, following a traditional recipe and carefully worked by hand to achieve its characteristic softness and an even distribution of ingredients.

Ideal enjoyed on its own as a sweet treat, this coffee-flavoured torrone is perfect served at the end of a meal, paired with espresso, or offered in small pieces alongside dessert wines.

PREPARATION
Remove the wrapping and cut the nougat into small pieces using a sharp knife. For easier slicing, allow the nougat to rest at room temperature before serving.

COOKING IDEAS
Serve as part of a dessert platter, alongside coffee or espresso, or pair with dessert wines such as Vin Santo or Moscato. Nougat can also be chopped and used to add texture to desserts, yoghurts or ice cream.
